This final project was for my motion design course. The objective was to create a kinetic type music video. I was allowed to choose my own song, but it needed to have dynamic design choices and flow with the rhythm in the music.

Solution
For my choice, I picked Leave The Door Open by Silk Sonic. This song was very inspiring to me, and it was easy to envision what colors and styles felt right. I also used some of the imagery in the song to illustrate different motion elements that would flow throughout.

Results/Learnings
Though this music video was super fun to create, it took many long nights to perfect. Matching up the lyrics to the rhythm was difficult but, over time I got the hang of it. After completing the project, it was exciting to watch the video come to life. In the future I would love to continue learning how to make motion graphics.
