Scope
For my senior project I had to create, illustrate, and publish my own book. This could be about whatever topic I chose, but it required at least 56 pages of content. Along with this project, I had to create my own covers and poster for the senior design show. Since this project lasted a semester length, it has been my biggest and most extensive project to this day.

Solution
With topics in mind, I immediately thought about the bakery I work at and the relationships I created in the four years of service. This concept is very important to me, and I wanted to interview the women I work with. I combined my own photography as well as graphical and illustrational elements. I also was instructed to find my own print vendor and explore the printing options.

Results/Learnings
Out of all of my work, this assignment was the most difficult. It took 16 weeks of developing concepts and printing my book. Throughout my process, finding the print vendor and communicating pricing and print options was an obstacle. One of my favorite aspects of this project was interviewing my co-workers and learning more about their life. Even though I had already known a great bit of information, there was still a lot more to learn about. This project has also reminded me of the beautiful friendships I created at the bakery.
